The Congregational Care Ministry Team at Wellspring Church is dedicated to fostering a supportive and nurturing community where all members feel valued, connected, and spiritually supported through life’s joys and challenges.
Our vision is to create a culture of care within the congregation, where every member feels seen, heard, and supported in their spiritual journey. Through intentional pastoral care, education, and community-building initiatives, we aim to cultivate an environment where love, compassion, and mutual support thrive.
Biography
I’m an old woman who retired in 2015 after 34 years of state employment, the last 27 years with the Dept of Finance and Administration. After retiring, I worked part time for 4-5 years in congregational care at St Matthew’s UMC as an assistant to the head of that ministry. I’m married with 3 children and (soon to be) 3 grandchildren and 2 granddogs. I’m originally from Tupelo, MS and graduated from MS State a long time ago. I love to sew, do genealogy research, bake, and garden.
