Congregational Care Ministry Team
Congregational Care at Wellspring is all about showing Christ’s love in practical ways. Through meals, visits, and prayer, our teams come alongside those in need—whether it’s welcoming a new baby, supporting someone in recovery, or encouraging a homebound member.
Meal Ministry – Provide a meal for individuals or families during times of need.
Visitation Team – Visit those who are homebound, hospitalized, or in care facilities to remind them they’re not alone.
Prayer & Support – Offer encouragement and intercede for those walking through difficult seasons.
If you have a heart for compassion and serving others, Congregational Care is a great place to get involved. Every act of kindness makes a difference.
Biography
I’m an old woman who retired in 2015 after 34 years of state employment, the last 27 years with the Dept of Finance and Administration. After retiring, I worked part time for 4-5 years in congregational care at St Matthew’s UMC as an assistant to the head of that ministry. I’m married with 3 children and (soon to be) 3 grandchildren and 2 granddogs. I’m originally from Tupelo, MS and graduated from MS State a long time ago. I love to sew, do genealogy research, bake, and garden.
