Wednesday's Word
Dear Wellspring,
I don’t know about you, but New Member Sundays are always such an encouragement to me! It reminds me that God is at work drawing people to Himself, and that while we plant seeds, God does the miraculous and beautiful work of growing His Church, both deep and wide. Check out our newest members here if you didn’t get a chance to meet them Sunday!
As we approach the Thanksgiving season, our hearts can be both full and grateful, heavy and hungry. Let us continue to lift one another up and carry each other’s burdens, and may we come boldly to His throne with those far from Him and with our sacrifices of praise!

UPCOMING EVENTS
- Wellspring Wednesdays! – Join us Wednesday nights from 6-7:15 for coffee, cookies, Isaiah Bible Study, Kid’s Club and Youth Group!
- November 16th, Church-wide Thanksgiving Potluck after the service! Click here to sign up!
- Manger Mission starts November 16. You can adopt a child and/or donate money for food cards and family items. All money needs donated by Dec. 7th, gifts need wrapped and placed in the family box Dec. 14-17. All items will be delivered to Madcap Dec. 19th!
- Madison Christmas Parade – December 6th (Come see the Wellspring float!) If you’re interested in helping or walking in the Parade, just show up or contact Chelsea Turner.
- Gluckstadt Christmas Parade – December 13th (Come see the Wellspring Float!). If you’re interested in helping or walking in the Parade, just show up or contact Chelsea Turner.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Pledge Cards. You can still submit your pledge cards for 2026! Grab one from the cradenza in the foyer and drop in the offering plate.
- Homebound Communion Help. If you’d like to help serve homebound communion the week following the first Sunday of each month, contact Ann (601) 506-4364.
- Devoted Ladies Bible Study will wrap up their Judges study on Nov. 18th and break for the holidays. During that time they will be independently reading “The Gospel Comes with a House Key” followed by a book discussion in January.
Church Directory. Wellspring officially has a directory! Access it by downloading the app, Instant Church Directory, or in your web browser at http://members.instantchurchdirectory.com. Contact Chelsea Turner at 601-720-2443 for any questions or issues!
Healthcare Volunteers. We are looking for healthcare workers to volunteer for the Medical Response Team. Contact Rob at (601) 668-4574
Parking. As we continue to grow, please leave prime parking spots for those who need them most! Thank you!
We Need a Church Historian. A big “thank you!” to Suzanne Hart for serving as our historian for the past two years! If you are interested in taking over this position, or if you have questions, please contact Kim @ (601) 594-6740.
Office Angel. There is ONE open Office Angel spots to fill if you are interested in volunteering weekly in the church office! We need help Friday afternoon 12-3. Contact Laura Leon (601) 218-3685.
Prayer Requests. If you have prayer requests, updates or praises for the Wellspring Weekly Prayer Guide (attached below!) please share with Ann White (601) 506-4364. Monday’s weekly prayer meeting lifts up these items for prayer, as do the Prayer Team (join the prayer team by texting Stacey A, 601-397-7400) and many others throughout the week! “Coincidences occur much more frequently when we pray” Archbishop William Temple.

WELLSPRING KIDS
Birth–5th Graders
If you’ve been missing Sunday school at 9 am, there is a class of peers praying for you to join them! Grades 1-5, Kid’s Room. Ages 2-5, Toddler Room. Ages 0-2, Infant’s Room

- Wellspring Kids! will be singing a special song during the service on December 21st. Bring your little ones for practice every Sunday from 9:45-10 am.
STUDENT MINISTRY
6th–12th Graders
- Sundays @ 9 am – Join us in the youth room for Sunday school
- Friendsgiving! Join us November 23rd @ the church from 5-7:30…bring a friend!
- Christmas Party, December 21st at 5 pm. Bring a $20 gift to exchange, and something yummy to share.
