Spiritual Formation and Discipleship Curriculum

This curriculum is designed to guide the people of Wellspring Church—and others walking with us—into a lifelong journey of deepening spiritual maturity, Christlike character, and faithful engagement in God’s mission. Rooted in the conviction that discipleship is the central call of the Church, this curriculum offers a holistic and intentional pathway for spiritual formation through clear teaching, guided practice, and life in Christian community.

Organized into thematic tracks, the curriculum covers key areas of discipleship: from foundational Christian beliefs and spiritual practices to life in the Spirit, character development, and vocational discernment. Each track includes core content areas, carefully curated reading lists, and recommended resources to equip believers at every stage of their journey—from new believers to seasoned leaders.

Whether used in small groups, Sunday school classes, or one-on-one mentorship, this curriculum is designed to foster growth that is both deep and wide: forming the heart, informing the mind, and shaping lives that reflect the love and lordship of Jesus Christ in every sphere of life.

1.0 Foundations of Faith

This track explores the core of the Christian faith through this foundational track covering basic beliefs, the structure and story of the Bible, and the gospel narrative from creation to new creation. Includes an introduction to the creed, Trinity, salvation, the Church, and eschatology, with optional focus on Wesleyan distinctives. Designed to ground believers in a clear, gospel-centered worldview.
