Revelation 16: Armageddon and the Seven Bowls of Wrath

Revelation 16 brings us face to face with the bowls of God’s wrath and the famous prophecy of Armageddon. In this study, we walk verse by verse through the chapter, exploring the imagery of the bowls, their connection to the Exodus plagues, and the way God’s judgment is both just and purposeful.

We also take time to discuss:

  • Why God sometimes speaks cryptically and other times plainly

  • How the bowls of wrath relate to both human sin and the prayers of the saints

  • The meaning of Armageddon in its biblical and historical context

  • Whether this “final battle” should be read as literal, symbolic, or both

  • What faithfulness looks like when the world resists the way of Christ

This session is both challenging and encouraging, reminding us that while the forces of darkness intensify toward the end, Christ has already borne our cup of wrath on the cross. Our call is to persevere, remain faithful, and be ready for his coming.
