- Monday Prayer! Join us any Monday at 1 in the church lobby for prayer. Pray out loud, pray silently, listen to the prayers of others, ask for prayer…this time is very flexible, there is no pressure, and such a powerful way to start the week!
- September 2-13 : 3 Chord Groups. Women, the gold sign-up box is on the credenza! Sign up by the 13th for a new 3 Chords group of women to pray for and get to know! (Sept 20-Dec 6)
- September 6 : Baptism Sunday, 10:45 service!
- September 11 : Common Ground. Our 20’s-40’s group is going bowling! Text Nicole if you’re interested in going!
- September 13 : Invite Sunday & Wellspring’s Birthday!

- September 26 : Women’s Conference 9am-noon. This will be a “Going Beyond” virtual event featuring Priscilla Shirer! Save the date and invite your friends!

- October 10-12 : Beach Retreat 7th-12 grades Registration is open now through September 9th! See “Student Ministries” below!
- October 28 : Fall Festival and 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off! Save the date and start inviting families around you!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- If you are interested in participating in the Honduras February 6-13 Missions Trip, call Ellen Healy @ (601) 506-6731. Participants needed to help with construction, medical, children’s VBS and ladies Bible Study. We will also deliver food and Bibles to homes of those in need.
- Additional parking is available in the SIP Outdoors parking lot, and in the overflow gravel parking lot! Thank you for helping us make room for everyone by using the additional parking areas when needed.
- The Wellspring cookbook is $20, and available when the office and church is open! Your purchase will help offset the cost of the kneeling cushions for the altar.
- Help us provide fresh flowers for the altar on Sunday mornings! We now have a flower calendar available for you to sign up, cost is $100. Contact Melinda to make arrangements (601)668-3710. To pay, simply drop a check in the offering plate or Venmo for “altar flowers”.
- Congregational Care Flower Ministry. We are looking for volunteers (not related to altar flowers)…talk to Wanda Shivers for details (601)941-3036
- Benevolence Fund. Wellspring has a benevolence fund for anyone interested in making a designated gift to help others in need! If you would like to contribute, please write “benevolence” in the memo line of your check or Venmo contribution.
- Our Wellspring Kids need you! Please contact Cindy Goodwin (601)856-4465 with questions or if you are interested in investing in our Wellspring Kids once a month!
- Visitation Team. If you’re interested in making phone or physical visits to congregation members, let Ann know you’d like to be part of the Congregational Care Ministry Team!
We Need a Church Historian! If you are interested in becoming the Church Historian, or if you have questions, please contact Kim @ (601) 594-6740.
Prayer Requests and Prayer Team. If you have prayer requests, updates or praises for the Wellspring Weekly Prayer Guide, please share with Ann White (601) 506-4364. Monday’s weekly prayer meeting lifts up these items for prayer, as do the Prayer Team (join the prayer team by texting Stacey, 601-397-7400) and many others throughout the week!
