Who will shape your identity—God or the world around you?
In Daniel 1, everything familiar was taken from Daniel. His home, his culture, his name, and his future were all placed under Babylon’s control. Yet before Babylon could define him, Daniel made one life-changing decision: “He resolved that he would not defile himself.” That single decision became the foundation for a lifetime of faithfulness.
This message explores what it means to live a life of biblical holiness in a culture that encourages compromise. Holiness isn’t about legalism or perfection. It’s about deciding that your life belongs to Jesus and responding in obedience whenever the Holy Spirit calls you to surrender something. God still calls His people to be set apart—not by withdrawing from the world, but by faithfully following Him within it.
