This series explores how the supremacy of Christ leads to spiritual fullness, freedom from false substitutes, and transformed daily living. From the cosmic reign of Jesus to ordinary acts of faithfulness, Colossians shows us what it means to live fully alive in Christ.

  • Week 1 (April 12, 2026) — Fully Alive by the Gospel (Colossians 1:1–14). The gospel does more than rescue us from sin—it produces fruit, endurance, and joyful gratitude. To be fully alive is to live from the hope the gospel creates.
    Emphases:
    • New life begins with grace, not effort.
    • Growth is the normal shape of living faith.
    • Gratitude is the mark of spiritual vitality.
  • Week 2 (April 19, 2026) —Fully Alive in Christ Above All  (Colossians 1:15–20). Full life is not found in self-improvement or spiritual techniques, but in Christ himself—the image of God and the Lrod of all creation and redemption.

    • Christ reveals God and defines reality.
    • All things hold together in Him.
    • The fullness of God dwells in Christ.
  • Week 3 (April 26, 2026) — Fully Alive through Reconciliation (Colossians 1:21–23). Sin alienates and fractures, but Christ reconciles and restores. Being fully alive means living as people brought near and held fast by hope.
    Emphases:
    • Salvation is relational restoration.
    • Stability flows from hope, not fear.
    • Perseverance is rooted in grace.
  • Week 4 (May 3, 2026) —Fully Alive, Rooted in Christ (Colossians 2:6–15). Believers are made fully alive not by rules or rituals, but by union with Christ. In him the powers that enslaved us are disarmed.
    Emphases:
    • Fulness replaces spiritual anxiety.
    • Legalism and false spirituality promise life but deliver bondage.
    • Freedom flows from being united with Christ.
  • Week 5 (May 10, 2026) —Fully Alive in New Life (Colossians 3:1–11). Resurrection life reshapes desires, habits, and identity. To be fully alive is to put off the old self and life from our new reality in Christ.
    Emphases:
    • Identity precedes obedience.
    • Holiness is participation in new life.
    • Formation is an on-going process.
  • Week 6 (May 17, 2026)—Fully Alive Together (Colossians 3:12–17)
    Life in Christ is never merely individual. A fully alive church is marked by peace, love, worship, and gratitude rooted in Christ’s presence among us.
    Emphases:
    • Christ reshapes community life.
    • Worship overflows into everyday relationships.
    • Gratitude sustains spiritual vitality.
