Wednesday's Word

Someone once said that true thanksgiving always precedes the miracle. While we wait for Christmas, Emmanuel, while we wait for change, while we wait for prayers to be answered and miracles to emerge…may it be with the genuine living of deep gratitude.

Psalms 92: It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep!

Our God is bigger and better than our circumstances, fears, wounds, misconceptions, and past failures. No matter what your celebrations look like this year, there is a deep security and joy in declaring the goodness, kindness, loving, and eternal nature of our Father.

There WILL be opportunities this week to point others to our dependence upon Him…and to His faithfulness. May we SEE them and be bold in taking them!

Happy Thanksgiving, Wellspring Family!

Pastor Matt
